If the worst happens and the act has to pull out through illness or other unforeseen problem, we will work hard to find you an appropriate replacement performer, even at the last minute. Richards passion for booking quality entertainment is born out of many years of working as a musician in the many pubs, clubs and holiday parks that the South East of England has to offer. His first paying gig was in 1986 and he continues to perform this very day in various acts but is most at home on stage when he is wearing one of the costumes from his extensive wardrobe and singing the hits of yester-year in tribute act Back To The 80’s.
To make the jump from performer to agent was something that had always interested Richard, but there was only one agency that he had aspirations to work with. So, in 2014 when Lewis and Andy offered Richard the chance to join the Actz sales team, he didn’t need to be asked twice!
Since then, he has relished the challenge of giving his clients the best possible service.
His hands on knowledge of the venues and the acts gives him a unique insight to the entertainment world and is an invaluable asset to any client looking to book an act.
I have been working as part of the Actz Entertainment team since 2015 Supporting the Agent/Bookers and Creative team and assisting them with all Admin jobs.
I, Myself have been performing since 2010. I knew most of the Actz team prior to this as I used to enter all the local competitions both run and attended by the guys at Actz.
I have been involved in the music industry from a very young age. At the age of 9 I made my debut into performing by being part of the West end cast of 'Joseph and The amazing technicolor Dream Coat' and performed for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber at his 50th Birthday celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall.
After 10 years of Full time performing i decided to use and further my knowledge by joining Actz Entertainment as an Agent/Booker. I am dedicated in creating more opportunities for Performers across the UK.
I have a firm background in Jazz, Acoustic and Band Set ups and therefore this is my area of Expertise in the Acts Office.
